Mississippi Delta Council for Farm Workers Opportunities Inc and Alcorn State University will work together to market fresh and frozen vegetables to consumers in the Mississippi Delta. MDCFWOI will provide two refrigerated trucks to transport vegetables to the processing plant and from the plant to local schools. Also, MDCFWOI has a commercial freezer that will allow our farmers to gain a larger share of the market. Alcorn State University Extension Program will provide technical assistance to farmers.
