The Porsche Boxster Awesome To The Highway In Fab Design
Originally released in 1996, the Porsche Boxster is reputed to be among the finest roadsters worldwide when you consider its road handling capabilities. The Boxster remains an extremely powerful vehicle with superb speed and has only experienced minor interior changes and horsepower upgrades through the years. With their popular models, Porsche usually maintains the same look for an extended period of time
In 2005, Porsche brought out an even more powerful second-generation Boxster which didn't stray from their normal design process It has a resemblance to a Porsche Spyder but has two seats with a mid-engine and six cylinders as its prior version did. With the new Boxster, you still find that greater than 50% of the makeup and electronics are taken from the 911 Carrera. The torque modification and additional horsepower give the 2005 more muscle than its 2004 counterpart The 2005 Boxster S seemed to be almost comparable to the expensive Porsche 911 Carrera in acceleration and top-speed performance.
There is no other automobile that can play such a distinctive trombone-like wail with its exhaust as the Boxster. It is deemed an astounding fact since the engine is a miniature version of the Carrera's six-cylinder A five-speed manual transmission has become standard with the Boxster but can be upgraded to a six-speed if you wish. It can also have the five-speed Porsche-designed Tiptronic automatic transmission system put in, which is an excellent option. Although the Boxster can be described as a top quality vehicle inside and out, it is in no way a luxurious car. This presents the Porsche Boxster its reputation for top-notch handling.
