Beginning Saturday, June 23rd, Come to the Crossroads Farmers Market located at 1536 Desoto Avenue-Hwy 49, Clarksdale MS. Every Saturday from 7am until 12 noon and Every Tuesday from 4pm – 7pm
All are invited and encouraged to support Mississippi Delta small farmers. Spend your dollars where it matters the most- locally grown by local farmers! Accepting EBT/Snap Card ,Visa and MasterCard. Customers using EBT can earn extra bonus rewards. Spend up to $20 and get up to $20 more Free.
New this season: more vendors, more produce, and appointment of Robbie Pollard as the Market Manager. Mr. Pollard is a farmer, food truck entrepreneur, and Master Gardener. He has experience working and organizing the farmers market in Batesville. He is a member of Start 2 Finish Community Farms, the CEO of Happy Foods LLC and the Executive Director of the Happy Foods Project. With start up funding in 2014 from the USDA Farmers Market Promotion Program, Mr. Pollard started the Happy Foods Mobile Unit that travels throughout the Mississippi Delta providing communities with healthy eating options. He received his B.S. from Florida International University in Miami, Florida in 2000.
